Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a customer-focused associate in Texas. You will engage customers at the service desk, sales floor, and register, offering expert product and service knowledge to drive car care excellence.

Responsibilities include scheduling, selling parts and services, processing transactions, and upholding safety and policy standards while maintaining an organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in automotive service or sales preferred.
• Basic math skills to calculate commissions and discounts.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers in-store and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments, engage customers, and sell parts and services.
• Process work orders and register transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain shop organization and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assist management with opening/closing duties and customer care issues.
• Perform routine express automotive services and inspections as needed.
