Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC is seeking an in-store service and sales associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and guide them through parts and service options that keep their vehicles running optimally. You will handle work orders, register transactions, and perform basic automotive services while upholding company standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts and be able to apply formulas for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in-store and by phone, schedule appointments, build trust, understand needs, explain processes and timelines, and sell parts and services.
• Organize and drive service business productivity through work orders, register transactions, vehicle inspections, and knowledge of parts and services.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, register support, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase ordering.
• Follow all policies on cash handling, credit, checks, refunds and returns; collaborate with management to resolve customer service issues.
