Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a service manager to lead an auto service team, coach technicians, and ensure excellent customer interactions. You will drive sales, manage scheduling and inventories, and collaborate with front/back shop to optimize operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, several years in auto service, and leadership experience; a valid driver's license is required to test drive vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Teammate and customer/communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians successfully according to store requirements.
• Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times in order to test drive customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
