Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a team of auto service technicians and coordinate customer relations.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, manage parts purchasing, scheduling, and quality standards, while driving customer satisfaction and store performance. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for first-time hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance.
• Aptitude to lead and coach others.
• Teammate and customer/communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians.
• Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work to auto service staff by skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee hiring and training of auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Manage customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Be primary contact for inquiries and feedback.
• Understand store operations and paperwork to improve efficiency.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to front of shop to boost revenue.
