Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a skilled Auto Service Manager to lead a team in a high-volume store. You’ll supervise technicians, coach staff, and drive exceptional customer service while coordinating parts procurement and service delivery.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring quality standards and strong customer relationships. This role emphasizes leadership, process optimization, and revenue growth within Bridgestone’s service network.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience required.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and customer complaint handling skills.
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities; capable of recruiting technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee hiring and training of auto service team.
• Maintain high teammate retention and quality standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and issue resolution.
• Be primary contact for customer inquiries and feedback, building long-term relationships.
• Understand business operations and paperwork, including financial transactions and policies.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
