Job summary

Servco Toyota Kona is seeking a Service Consultant to warmly welcome customers, determine required services, and act as the liaison between customers and technicians. You will inspect records, provide cost/time estimates, and keep customers informed throughout the service process.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year in sales or customer service, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
General mechanical knowledge from work or education.
Strong communication and customer relations skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Auto dealership service writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and determine which vehicle services are needed.
Liaise between our technicians and customers to explain work required.
Inspect customer vehicle records and assess if additional services are needed.
Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain customer’s approval.
Monitor status of vehicle service/repair and keep customer informed.
Book and close repair orders on a timely basis.
Arrange for customer loaner vehicles if needed.
Follow-up on back ordered parts and schedule return appointments.
Verify all items requested are completed and payment is made before returning the vehicle.
