Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Service Consultant in Southlake to link customers and technicians, ensuring honest, transparent service. You will guide customers through the service and repair process with clear communication and personalized support.

In this role, you will document concerns, create repair orders, discuss repairs, and help manage invoices and payments, while maintaining a clean, safe workplace and adhering to CarMax EH&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers with professionalism and empathy throughout the service experience.
• Document customer concerns and create repair orders for technicians, update vehicle status.
• Advise customers on recommended repairs and explain service details clearly.
• Review completed work for accuracy and prepare invoices for billing.
• Process service payments and manage cash transactions.
• Coordinate workflow to maintain productivity in a fast-paced setting.
• Follow EH&S requirements and keep the work area clean and orderly.
