Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to lead a high-performance team on the shop floor. You will supervise hourly staff, train teammates, and ensure policies are followed while delivering quick, trusted service to guests.

Responsibility spans oil changes, maintenance guidance, scheduling, inventory, safety, and audits. If you have supervisory experience and a passion for guest satisfaction, this is your path forward.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in retail or service.
• Strong customer service focus and loyalty-building ability.
• Comfort handling KPI data to monitor performance and identify trends.
• Ability to maintain schedules and ensure labor-law compliance.
• Excellent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service center operations and train new team members.
• Perform oil changes and maintenance tasks as needed and ensure guest education on services.
• Develop weekly work schedules to optimize coverage and manage conflicts.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate orders.
• Support audits for safety, performance and culture; ensure a clean, safe center.
• Open and close the service center following safety protocols.
• Drive customer satisfaction by delivering the Valvoline quick, easy, trusted process.
