Job summary

Grease Monkey Duluth, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our Duluth location. The role splits time between the service bay, front counter, and back office, delivering fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service while upholding safety and brand standards.

You will lead by example, coach technicians and advisors, manage scheduling, and help build a team customers and coworkers can rely on.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting the brand values.
