Job summary

Absolute Auto Port Matilda, PA is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to be the main contact between customers and repair technicians. The role focuses on delivering excellent service while guiding the daily workflow of the shop.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting concerns, preparing estimates, coordinating parts, and keeping customers updated on repair status. Schedule Tue-Fri 7am-6pm; production bonuses after 90 days and paid vacation/holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Automotive service, parts or repair experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and discuss automotive repairs.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Comfortable using computers and shop management software.
• Must be able to read and write with correct grammar and spelling.
• Ability to multitask in a busy shop environment.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional, friendly customer service.
• Write up repair orders and accurately document customer concerns.
• Communicate with customers throughout the repair process.
• Review technician findings and help prepare accurate estimates.
• Explain recommended repairs and maintenance to customers.
• Obtain customer approval before repairs are performed.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts suppliers, order and process parts.
• Keep customers updated on repair status and completion times.
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily workflow.
• Maintain Inventory and shop supplies.
• Help ensure vehicles are completed correctly and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
