Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an Auto Service Advisor in Fargo, ND. You will interact with customers to identify needs, verify warranties, create repair orders, and develop accurate estimates while maintaining a superior service standard.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role, preferably in auto service.
• Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously, and make overhead service announcements.
• Schedule service appointments for customers.
• Develop knowledge of Fleet Farm’s tires, parts and accessories.
• Promote and sell automotive products and services that meet customer needs.
• Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor.
• Occasionally perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes or fluid checks.
• Assist customers with questions and resolve issues while delivering superior service.
• Assist in event and promotions preparations.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program, credit card, and other initiatives.
• Ensure services are completed with high quality and meet customer needs.
