LaFontaine Automotive Group in Michigan seeks an automotive sales consultant to engage customers, demonstrate vehicle features, and close sales on the showroom floor and on the road.

You will explain options, research model availability, and prepare all related paperwork while maintaining prospect development and attending trainings. The role requires a high school diploma and sales or customer service experience.

Formación

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Responsabilidades

• Greets customer on sales floor and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
• Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.
• Suggests optional equipment for customers to purchase.
• Research availability of models and optional equipment.
• Consults with Sales Manager when necessary; never leaving a customer without consulting with a sales Manager.
• Computes and quotes sales price including tax, trade-in, license, and financing requirements.
• Prepares all related paperwork and applications (sales slip, credit application).
• Delivers new vehicle to customer and ensures understanding of features and paperwork.
• Maintains a prospect development system.
• Attends sales meetings and training sessions; adheres to company policies.
• Meets or exceeds written forecast and projected sales numbers.
