Job summary

CDK Global is seeking an Account Development Executive to grow new market share by pursuing competitive dealership accounts within a defined territory. You will drive conquest sales across CDK’s product portfolio, collaborating with channel partners to expand opportunities and achieve annual targets under the guidance of the Director of Sales.

You will travel about 75% of the time, including overnights, and must live in the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years in an outside sales role with B2B experience.
• Experience selling complex solutions to automotive dealerships or retail dealerships.
• Strong consultative solution selling capability to align client needs with a product solution.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively acquire new business in competitive dealership accounts.
• Create daily activity through cold calling in target accounts.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop an overall sales plan.
• Forecast short and long-term sales results.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time, including overnight trips.
• Work independently or in a team and use MS Office proficiently.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and required tasks.
