Job summary

CDK Global is seeking an Account Development Executive to drive field sales across a defined territory in the United States, selling CDK Vehicle Inventory Management solutions to automotive dealerships.

You will build relationships, identify growth opportunities, and work with channel partners to achieve annual sales plans, while managing end-to-end sales processes and forecasting in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive dealership sales (GM/GSM/Used Car Manager) or outside B2B sales.
• Experience using consultative solution selling to align client needs with a CDK solution.
• Ability to travel 75% or more with weekly overnight travel.
• Proven track record of growing market share through conquest sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive top-line growth by closing new Inventory business from targeted automotive dealers.
• Identify and define a growth strategy in the market for the business.
• Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets with strong compensation expectations.
• Manage the sales process end to end, coordinating internal teams to complete implementations.
• Develop comprehensive understanding of CDK applications and their functionality.
• Maintain accurate records and your forecast in Salesforce CRM.
