Job summary

CDK Global is seeking an Account Development Executive to cultivate relationships within competitive dealership accounts across Wisconsin and Central/Northern Illinois. You will expand market share by demonstrating the depth of CDK’s product portfolio and coordinating with channel partners to drive opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of outside sales experience, a proven B2B track record, and strong consultative selling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years in outside sales or business development selling complex solutions to automotive dealerships.
• Experience using consultative solution selling to align client needs with a solution.
• Proven track record selling B2B.
• Familiar with dealer tools including CRMs, desking solutions, and DMS products.
• Strong communication and customer-focused, process-driven.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively acquire new business in competitive dealer accounts.
• Create activity by cold calling into competitive accounts daily.
• Identify growth opportunities in the market for the business.
• Develop an overall sales plan and forecast results for short and long term.
• Travel up to 75% in the field, including overnight travel.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
