Job summary

CDK Global is seeking an Account Development Executive to grow business in competitive dealership accounts within Ohio and Kentucky. You will build relationships, manage conquest sales, and collaborate with channel partners to expand CDK's product portfolio.

This field sales role requires a bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of outside sales experience, and a proven B2B selling track record. Expect heavy travel (about 75%), and a compensation package with base salary and commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years in an outside sales role, preferably selling to automotive dealerships.
• Experience using consultative solution selling to align client needs with a solution.
• Proven track record selling B2B.
• Ability to develop account plans and drive leads to close.
• Knowledge of dealer tools including CRMs, desking, and DMS products.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively acquire new business and strengthen key dealer relationships.
• Create activity by cold calling into competitive accounts daily.
• Identify and define growth opportunities in the market.
• Develop an overall sales plan and forecast results for the short and long term.
• Travel about 75% in the field, including overnight travel.
• Work independently or in a team and meet performance targets.
