Job summary

PPG Industries in the United States is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and grow the Dallas/Ft Worth territory. You will drive sales and service targets, manage distributors, and build relationships with dealers and collision centers while traveling about 25% of the time.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent experience, 5+ years of consultative sales, and Automotive Refinish experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years track record in growing sales with consultative selling.
• Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory; 25% overnight travel.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales plans and drive growth within the territory.
• Develop understanding of end customer requirements and PPG strategy.
• Sell paint systems and sundry items for PPG Refinish brands via distribution.
• Manage distributor relationships including training and receivables.
• Leverage analytics to improve profitability and cycle times in the region.
• Target and develop relationships with dealers, MSO, and collision centers.
• Collaborate within a team to grow the market and maximize potential.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance, including MVR review.
