Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a capable leader to guide the store team in delivering outstanding customer service to both retail and professional customers. You will supervise showroom service programs, assist in staffing during peak hours, and coach team members toward goals while supporting hiring efforts and policy adherence.

You will ensure accurate processing of BOP/ship-to orders, manage external purchases, and handle returns with care, while maintaining invoicing, security, and daily

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure proper execution of service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Collaborate with the store manager to staff the sales counter during peak hours and guide team goal setting and coaching.
• Assist in hiring by scheduling interviews and evaluating candidates with management to select qualified teammates.
• Ensure telephone inquiries are answered per policy and orders are processed promptly (BOP/Ship-to, hub, store-to-store, DC add orders).
• Manage outside orders with the PO ledger and ensure timely communication to customers about shipments.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Guarantee invoicing of all merchandise (including core charges and warranties) before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks (Image Maker) as assigned.
• Ensure policy compliance: clocking in/out, posted schedules approvals, and adherence to rules.
• Perform all opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money and deposits as required.
• Assist in maintaining store building, lot, signage, hardware, service equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
