Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and the role includes customer engagement, inventory tasks, and cash handling.

The position emphasizes greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and collaborating with store leadership to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone, lookup parts and quote prices, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, etc.
• Operate store test equipment after training; perform in-store services (oil, batteries, codes, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
