Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Manassas, VA is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level customer service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management in daily tasks and promote service programs while ensuring accurate transactions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Spanish language skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete required company training relevant to position.
• Answer store phone lines, look up parts and quote prices, and offer related items and Low-Price Guarantee.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and maintain cash drawer accurately.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stocking, planogram updates, and inventory checks.
• Operate store equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries) as allowed by state laws.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
