Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will greet customers, help select merchandise, process transactions, and handle returns with accuracy and courtesy. In this role you will assist with stock updates, planograms, and daily store operations while promoting the company’s customer service programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desirable: Familiar with automotive parts, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Promote company customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist managers in serving professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, credit transactions, and returns per policy.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain stock, planograms, and daily store operations tasks.
• Perform in-store services and basic equipment operation as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
