O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in managers' absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service, managing in-store programs, and ensuring accurate processing of orders, returns, and invoicing. Strong communication and safety/compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required/desired.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts knowledge beneficial.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge helpful.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Spanish language ability is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and stage returned merchandise properly.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to posted work schedules and verify clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money/deposits.
