Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Stevensville, MD, seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations, with potential shift management in their absence.

The role focuses on leading a team to deliver excellent service, supervising customer service programs, and handling day-to-day duties including opening/closing, money handling, and security, with bilingual candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee showroom customer service levels and ensure program execution (Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders timely and inform customers of shipments.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and issue refunds using correct methods.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties, manage deposits, and security procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
