Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Minnesota is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and support sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of managers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged; candidates with automotive parts experience and ASE/RSS certifications are preferred. Pay is hourly with potential premiums based on schedule, location, and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process refunds and returns accurately and manage merchandise in returns area.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before dispatch.
• Communicate Zipline messages and manage merchandising tasks.
• Ensure team adheres to posted schedules and clock-in/out properly.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and security procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
