Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role will also assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and RSS certification are required, with ASE certification and Spanish language ability highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is a plus.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is desirable.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Spanish language ability is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure adherence to programs.
• Manage phone inquiries and order processing per policy.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Coordinate store opening/closing and day-end procedures.
