Job summary

Pick Your Part in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a procurement professional responsible for data management, vendor coordination, and PO reconciliation to support the procurement team.

The role involves updating vendor data, reviewing vendor acknowledgments, tracking shipments, generating reports, and assisting in RFPs, with emphasis on accuracy and timely deliveries. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma and 1+ year of experience; automotive background preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain product/vendor data in internal systems with dates, notes, and work order statuses.
• Review vendor-provided order acknowledgments for accuracy incl. item description, lead time, quantities, pricing; ensure timely receipt of material.
• Facilitate communication with vendors to provide PO numbers and confirm orders.
• Maintain vendor scorecard to reflect customer satisfaction.
• Reconcile purchase orders and invoices.
• Interface with Procurement and other departments; assist branches with acquisition orders to meet receiving/put-away goals.
• Organize and schedule meetings to improve procurement efficiency.
• Assist in preparing/auditing RFPs.
• Generate reports on Supplier Performance, Spending by Commodity, and Cost Savings.
• May manage general services such as office supplies, mail, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
