Pick Your Part Midwest LLC is seeking a procurement assistant to support the procurement team. The role involves updating product/vendor data, reviewing vendor order acknowledgments, and ensuring timely material receipt by set dates.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel, strong data entry skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. Occasional travel and facility-related tasks may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining product/vendor data in internal systems and notify involved parties of material availability.
• Review vendor order acknowledgments for accuracy including description, lead time, quantities and pricing; monitor back-orders and shipments.
• Provide PO numbers to confirm order placements and communicate with vendors.
• Maintain vendor scorecards to reflect customer satisfaction.
• Reconcile purchase orders and invoices; interface with procurement and accounting teams.
• Coordinate with branch locations and other departments to achieve receiving and put-away goals.
• Organize meetings to improve procurement efficiency and assist in preparing and auditing RFPs.
• Generate reports on supplier performance, spending by commodity and cost savings.
• May manage general services such as office supplies and facility-related tasks.
