Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA counter store is seeking a friendly Counter Sales associate to assist customers with auto parts and service questions. You’ll help customers at the counter and over the phone, using your parts knowledge to support the team and ensure a positive shopping experience.

You should enjoy fast-paced retail, be willing to learn about automotive parts, and bring excellent communication skills to help customers and teammates alike.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Background in automotive parts and customer service
• ASE Certifications (plus)

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone
• Assist other NAPA team members with customer questions
• Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions in the store
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced retail environment
• Welcome customers into the store and ensure a positive consumer experience
• Use computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog systems
