Genuine Parts Company is hiring a NAPA Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail stores, helping customers with auto parts and services. You’ll use your knowledge to assist customers, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact with customers at the counter and over the phone, use a computer and catalog systems, and learn products while growing your career within a Fortune 200 company that values development from within.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry recommended.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast-paced retail environments.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers at counter and over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores.
• Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.
