Genuine Parts Company is hiring a NAPA Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail store, helping customers with auto parts needs and answering questions with a friendly, energetic approach.

You will use catalog systems, cash registers and a computer to assist customers and support team members in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are available within the NAPA family.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED; trade/technical courses are a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Love fast-paced retail environments
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions
• Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions in the NAPA Store
• Bring customer focus and high energy to fast-paced stores
• Welcome customers and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Operate a computer, cash register, telephone and catalog system
