USA GPC Genuine Parts Company in Oregon is seeking a friendly NAPA Counter Sales Associate to be the face of our retail store. You will help customers with auto parts questions at the counter or by phone, using your parts knowledge and a welcoming demeanor.

This role offers opportunities to learn, work in a fast-paced environment, and grow within the company. A valid driver's license, high school diploma, and interest in automotive parts are required, with ASE certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Love fast paced retail environments
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers
• Background and/or passion for automotive industry or related fields
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
• ASE Certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person or over the phone
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system
