Job summary

The Boyd Group in Troy, AL is seeking a Parts Coordinator to manage ordering, receiving, storing and distributing auto body parts for repair orders. You will verify parts quality, coordinate with vendors, and enter invoices in the MIS to support a smooth production flow.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–3+ years of automotive parts experience, plus strong communication, organization and teamwork skills to succeed in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-3+ years with automotive parts experience.
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability and problem solving.
• I-Car registration, working toward Gold Class certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW plan consistently and communicate customer requests to the team.
• Order, receive, store, and dispatch parts per repair orders and production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS and track parts by RO number.
• Label, track and store parts; communicate price changes to stakeholders.
• Reconcile vendor invoices daily and ensure discounts on invoices.
• Monitor parts performance and coordinate with vendors and sublet suppliers.
• Ensure timely distribution of parts to the shop according to schedule.
