Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Spanish Fork, UT is hiring a production operator on a permanent, full-time basis to join Shift A. You will read work orders, read plans, operate assigned equipment safely, lift and stack product, and help maintain efficiency and good housekeeping.

Starting pay is $23.41 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour shift premium. We offer medical, Rx, dental, disability, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, education assistance, bonus eligibility, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Must be able to use a calculator.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work long hours in seasonal temperatures.
• Must be able to read and understand basic commands in English.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow all work and safety instructions.
• Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.
• Must possess a willingness to learn and an eagerness to grow.
• Must be able to follow detailed directions.

Responsibilities

Starting Rate of pay: $23.41/hr.

Shifts Available and Hours: EOWEO, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am

Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Little to no previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience is needed.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful but not required.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment including a forklift or Combi is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
