Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a Shipping Loader A in Gainesville, GA. Starting pay is $24.34 per hour. Shift details include 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM on nights, five to six days a week, with a continental schedule.

You will load trailers, inspect them, handle paperwork, operate a Yard Truck, and support material movement while complying with safety rules. Requires 2 years of manufacturing experience and Forklift certification or training opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 Years Manufacturing Experience.
  • Steady work history.
  • Willingness to work any shift.
  • Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training).
  • Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to exert enough force to tighten straps on loads.
  • Extended periods of sitting on forklift required.
  • Periods of walking and standing on concrete for extended periods of time and maneuvering in and out of bundles in staging area required.
  • Exposure to extremes of heat in summer months and cold in winter months as well as wind and rain when dropping and loading trailers.
  • Must be available to work weekends on a rotating continental schedule.

Starting Rate of pay: $24.34/HR

Shifts Available and Hours:

The typical schedule for nights is7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Saturday. Employees will generally work five to six days per week.

The typical schedule for nights is the 12-hour continental night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Shift hours may Vary based on business needs.

What you will be doing

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Previous Shipping experience a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior Forklift Operator experience a plus.
  • Previous experience driving large commercial Truck preferred (Yard Dog).
  • Previous experience working with computer programs (AS400 and Excel) preferred.
  • Team player; ability to work as a team; Self-starter; Adaptable to change.
  • Ability to prioritize needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with fluency in English; Good verbalcommunications skills a plus.
