Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This entry-level role supports servicing vehicles and includes full and part-time benefits from day one, plus a tool program discount.

Responsibilities include diagnosing basic automotive issues, performing scheduled maintenance, tire services, and testing electrical systems. Candidates should be able to learn quickly and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
