Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Memphis, TN is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team. You'll learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform routine maintenance, install tires, and road test vehicles in a collaborative shop environment.

Full and part-time benefits are available from day one, including a tool program, ASE certifications, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks and procedures.
  • Valid automobile driver’s license required at all times.
  • Experience in automotive service history preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust and electrical.
  • Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.
