Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking an experienced Mgr - Auto Loan Servicing to lead the auto loan servicing operations in a hybrid role based in Sacramento, CA. You will own end-to-end servicing, including title perfection, payoff processing, insurance servicing, and related refunds, while building performance standards and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience.
• Experience with auto loan servicing or related operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct auto loan servicing operations, including title perfection and release, payoff processing, and insurance servicing.
• Lead supervisors and team members by setting priorities, monitoring performance, and supporting development.
• Establish and maintain service standards, procedures, quality controls, and performance measures for accuracy and compliance.
• Promote engagement and professional growth to enable teams to perform at their best.
• Drive projects and process improvements, ensuring scalability and control.
• Lead servicing support for out-of-state lending and national expansion with defined procedures.
• Manage third-party auto refinance servicing partnerships and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate ancillary products and insurance-related services and resolve escalated member concerns.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and advise on changes to mitigate risk.
• Develop, test, and document process controls within the credit union's risk appetite.
• Participate in financial planning, manage expenses, and explain variances.
• Maintain business continuity plans and readiness for assigned functions.
