Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Auto-finance or consumer-lending collections preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume queue with accuracy.
• Discretion handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto-loan delinquency through all stages up to repossession referrals.
• Initiate high-volume calls to assess delinquency reasons and propose solutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and monitor commitments.
• Document all interactions and changes accurately in records.
• Locate customers using skip-tracing and update contact information.
• Resolve routine inquiries and escalate sensitive matters as needed.
• Identify repossession candidates and coordinate with Branch Manager.
• Support the Remarketing team with necessary account information.
• Conduct occasional on-site visits when required by branch ops.
• Complete welcome calls with new auto-loan customers and set expectations.
• Provide documentation for insurance claims and other departments as needed.
• Back up administrative tasks to keep branch operations running.
