Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Auto-finance, consumer-lending, or related collections experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume account queue with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage delinquent auto-loan accounts through all stages, including repossession referrals.
• Make high-volume inbound and outbound contacts to understand delinquency and identify solutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements within company guidelines and monitor promises to pay.
• Document all customer interactions, changes, and repossession recommendations.
• Use skip-tracing and account-research methods to locate customers and update contact info.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers, dealers, and internal partners.
• Collaborate with the Remarketing Department for repossessions.
