Job summary

Travelers in the United States is seeking a Claim Rep for Auto Liability to manage and investigate low to moderate complexity injury and property damage claims. You will determine coverage, evaluate liability, assess damages, set reserves, and issue timely payments while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year of bodily injury or liability experience, and an active adjuster license where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and active adjuster license where required.
• At least 1 year of bodily injury or property damage experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of claims handling, policy language and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury/property damage claims from first notice to resolution.
• Investigate information and determine coverage, liability, and reserves.
• Provide timely communication to customers, counsel, and vendors.
• Negotiate settlements and issue payments within authority.
• Maintain accurate claim records and adapt to new digital tools and AI.
• Acquire and maintain required state insurance licenses within three months.
