Job summary

Travelers Insurance in Independence, OH seeks a Claim Rep, Auto Liability, to manage injuries and property damage claims from notice to resolution. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ year Bodily Injury/Property Damage experience, an active adjuster license where required, and proficiency in MS Office and claims systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of bodily injury or property damage claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution within level of authority.
• Gather and thoroughly investigate information by contacting all relevant parties to determine coverage, evaluate liability exposure, assess bodily injury and/or property damage, and establish appropriate reserves.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, opposing counsel, third-party vendors, internal stakeholders, and other parties.
• Negotiate with multiple constituents and convey settlements within authority and issue payments timely and accurately.
• Handle low complexity litigation.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI initiatives while maintaining productivity and service quality.
