Job summary

Safelite Group in Pittsburgh is seeking an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee. You will be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training, observing and assisting with installing and repairing auto glass, and recalibrating safety systems.

You will work toward Safelite certification and operate company vehicles and tools as part of a supportive team. Prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred.
• Able to read, write and comprehend English and technical directions.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow policies.
