Job summary

Safelite AutoGlass Rocky Mount is seeking an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee. You will be trained through hands-on and classroom sessions to learn door-to-door glass installation, calibration, and customer service.

Upon completion, you earn Safelite SafeTech certification and join a team that supports your growth with tuition reimbursement, benefits, and paid training. You’ll work outdoors in varying weather while delivering high quality glass repairs.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training.
  • Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems and diagnose issues.
  • Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
  • Operate company vehicles and tools safely per policies.
