Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in New Jersey to train and become a licensed auto glass technician. You will learn through hands-on and classroom training, progress toward Safelite SafeTech certification, and perform glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations with focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

The program includes paid training, tools provided, and opportunities for promotion within the first year, plus benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license required to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observing and assisting in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Could be updated to reflect safety systems recalibration and diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Operate company and customer vehicles and use company tools safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to policies.
