Job summary

Safelite in New York offers a Technician Trainee program to train you into a certified auto glass technician. You will learn through hands-on and classroom training, observing and assisting with installations, repairs, and recalibrations while preparing for Safelite SafeTech certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid state driver's license required to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems, including diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.

Proficient with hand & power tools

Clean driving record / valid license

Education
