Job summary

Safelite in New Jersey is hiring a Technician Trainee to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, earning the SafeTech certification and gaining skills for glass repair, replacement and recalibrations.

You’ll observe and assist with auto glass installation, recalibrate automotive safety systems, and provide additional services. Training leads to certification and potential advancement based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
