Job summary

Safelite Fulfilment is seeking a Technician Trainee to join our apprenticeship program in auto glass. You will learn by hands-on training and classroom instruction, working toward Safelite SafeTech certification while performing glass repair, replacement and recalibrations as you gain proficiency.

Competitive weekly pay starts at $20.25/hour, rising to $24/hour after training and certification, with benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand in small spaces and work in varied temperatures.
• Willingness to learn Safelite processes and get certified.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
