Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to be trained to become a certified auto glass technician. You will learn hands-on and in-class, aiming to achieve the Safelite SafeTech certification and perform glass repair, replacement and recalibrations with high quality and customer care.

The role emphasizes paid training, a path to certification, and opportunities for advancement, plus a comprehensive benefits package and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic tests.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass tests to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools; follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned and uphold standards.
