Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to train and advance into a certified auto glass technician. You’ll learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, observe and assist with installation and repair, and perform recalibrations of vehicle safety systems.

You will also provide additional services and maintain safety with company policies. The program offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, bonuses on blade sets, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret English language and technical directions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools and adhere to safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain professional appearance.
