Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in New York state to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, culminating in SafeTech certification. The role includes observing and assisting with auto glass installation and recalibration of safety systems, with a focus on customer service excellence.

You'll be paid weekly starting at $23.50/hour, rising to $27.75/hour after training and certification, with a benefits package and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED/Equivalent preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and diagnose issues.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass tests to Safelite certification.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties and comply with policies.
